Cherrydale Farms Fundraiser – It’s that time of year again!! Cherrydale Farms Fundraiser will run from November 2nd thru November 19th. All orders and money need to be turned in by November 19th. Delivery date for ordered merchandise will be the week of December 10th. Students that sell 10 or more items are invited to the Rock Star Party. Students selling 30 or more items are invited out to lunch in style in a Chauffeur Driven Limousine. All proceeds go for new playground equipment for preschool and kindergarten.

CAN FOOD DRIVE – Beginning November 2nd thru November 19th we will be having a Can Food Drive to benefit Northern Pulaski Food Mission. Science Hill School will be in competition with Eubank Elementary again this year. Last year, Mr. Tim, once again had to wear a Eubank shirt and Mr. Dyehouse DID NOT get to have lunch on the roof of the school in a PINK BUNNY SUIT. We really want to see Eubank’s FRYSC coordinator wearing Science Hill Orange and Black as well as Mr. Dyehouse, Mr. Tim and Mr. Brad wearing PINK BUNNY SUITS or comparable attire, having lunch on the school roof. Our goal again this year is 5,000 cans. If you don’t have time to shop, we will accept cash to purchase cans of food. Each can = $0.50. There will be a pizza party for the winning classroom.

***PLEASE LOOK ON BACK FOR PTO AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

PTO is sponsoring a Winter Wonderland Dance on Friday, November 30th.

Tuesday, November 20th is Zaxby’s Night for Science Hill School. Go to Zaxby’s between 5:00-8:00 and they will donate a percentage of your order to our school. Please encourage all of your family and friends to help support our school.

Sports Passes for all Science Hill School home sporting events are now available for purchase.  Each pass is $40.00 and may be purchased in the front office or at the gate of the event.

4-H Pop Tab Collection

Please help 4th and 5th graders with their service project of collecting pop tabs for 4-H club. The collected pop tabs will be recycled and the money earned will be used to sponsor children to attend a summer camp. You may turn in any pop tabs to Mrs. Eastham or give to any 4th or 5th grader.  Thank you for helping us give back to our community!

FRYSC

Grandparent Support Group

Are you raising a grandchild in your home? If so, you are invited to attend our monthly support group. The group meets once a month and shares experiences. We have programs and speakers designed for grandparents and a free lunch provided. This free service is provided by the Family Resource and Youth Service Centers of Pulaski County, Somerset and Science Hill Schools.

If you would like more information, please call Keli Nelson at 679-7824 or your Family Resource Services Center at your child’s school.

Pulaski Co. Public Library – 107 North Main Street, Somerset

Remember, Car Rider Hangers are required!!!! Please place the hanger on your rearview mirror and leave it there until your child is in the car. All new students receive the first car hanger free. (If you need to purchase extra hangers, you may do so in the office. Hangers are $2.00 each.) Thanks to those of you who are using the car-rider hangers consistently. It does help speed up the pick-up line when everyone uses them. As a result of our increased speed, we are now able to finish our dismissal 3:15 – 3:20 p.m.  For those of you who like a short line, you can come around 3:10 p.m. and zip right through!  Thank you for helping us to develop a smooth running end to our day!
